Help

Sign in, sharing, export, and the questions we hear a lot.

Start and unlock your plan

  1. 01

Sign in using the email address associated with your account and open the sign-in link from your inbox.

  2. 02

After purchase, open Plan. Set up your vault passphrase and save the recovery card somewhere safe.

  3. 03

Fill a section and save your answers. Signing in on another device may require unlocking the encrypted plan with your passphrase or recovery information.

Invite someone and manage later access

  1. 01

Open People, enter the person's email, and choose their permissions and whether they can access the plan now or later.

  2. 02

Ask them to accept the invitation with the invited email address. Keep the invitation link private.

  3. 03

Review the check-in settings from People. Choose a cadence and respond to check-in emails; missed check-ins can release later access after reminders and the grace period.

  4. 04

Review or revoke access in People when circumstances change. Copies already downloaded or printed cannot be recalled.

Keep an offline copy

  1. 01

Open Export and unlock the plan if prompted. Print the summary or save it as a PDF using your browser's print dialog.

  2. 02

Download the encrypted export pack. Read its instructions and confirm that you can open it with your passphrase or recovery material.

  3. 03

Store the copy safely and replace it after important updates. If you lose both the passphrase and recovery material, support cannot recover the encrypted contents.

Questions we hear a lot

Is this a will?

No. A will directs your assets and needs to be drafted and witnessed properly. This planner is the practical layer around it: who to call, where the will and other papers are, what you'd like for care and ceremonies, and how to reach your accounts. Most people want both.

Do I have to finish it all at once?

No. Each section stands on its own and saves as you go. Plenty of people do one section a week. The progress bar is there to nudge, not to nag.

Who can see my plan?

Only the people you invite, at the level you choose. Family can see it now; a trusted contact can be set up to receive it later. We can't read it — it's encrypted on your device before it's stored.

Does AI read my plan?

No. Your saved plan stays yours. If you use “Tell it your way,” only the words you type in that box are sent to our assistant so it can sort them into fields. You review every suggestion before anything is saved. We don’t use your plan — or that snippet — to train AI.

What if you shut down?

You can export everything — PDF plus encrypted files — at any time, and the export opens offline without our servers. If we ever wind down, our terms give you at least 90 days to download it all.

Is it a subscription?

No. $79 once. That includes the vault, sharing, exports, and every update.

Do you store my passwords?

No. For digital accounts you record how to get in — which device, which person, which manager — never the passwords themselves.
